We spent our honeymoon in August this year in Spain and Portugal. We booked a package through Kuoni SOTC Ghaziabad so that we could attend the Tomatina Festival.
In Madrid, we had a guided city tour and saw many sights, including a very famous bullring. It was impressive but I am glad we did not see a bullfight. After three days in Spain, we left for Portugal, where we saw more monuments. We took a mini cruise on a river which flows through Lisbon. We spent two days in Portugal and then returned to Spain. We went to Seville and toured the marvellous Alhambra Palace.
Finally, on day nine came the best part of the tour - the Tomatina festival! It was just like the scenes in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. We had a great time throwing tomatoes and getting covered in tomato juice. The atmosphere is so friendly and everyone had a great time. We also went sky diving in Barcelona. We had seen enough famous buildings and we wanted something more adventurous. We did have to pay extra for this but it was worth it. The travel planner at Kuoni SOTC Ghaziabad explained to us that we would make the arrangements for skydiving in Spain itself. I thought it would have been easier to book this before leaving India. I cannot blame Kuoni SOTC Ghaziabad but I still found it a little inconvenient.
The package organised by Kuoni SOTC Ghaziabad was pricey, but for 12 days in Europe, it was definitely value for money. The price included visa costs, which was one less detail for us to worry about.
All in all, I recommend using Kuoni SOTC Ghaziabad for planning a honeymoon or any trip. They are very experienced and professional.
