The wedding industry in our country is at its boom. What are significant changes that you have seen in the country's Wedding Industry at this stage?
Today, the weddings are such that they have developed into a whole industry. A separate niche has been created which has come about over the years due to an economic boom, which has given the people the power to spend lavishly on a wedding, hence building a dynamic, growing industry. With that, the clients are much more aware, as travelling abroad is just a thought away. Thus Wedding designers have acquired international standards, and this industry at this stage is only going to grow even more.
Are there any suggestions that you can give your clients before they approach you and as they set forth the planning process?
We always give three suggestions to clients:
- Book everything well in advance
- The client's style and taste should reflect in the wedding designs as such a personal event requires this
- Never underestimate the weather
What are the season's most interesting decors and trends?
With the tech savvy life that we all lead, decor trends have also become more technical and more technology oriented.
What do you feel is the key element that every bridegroom should incorporate into their wedding day?
Personalized choices in the whole wedding.
What is the one thing about weddings that is most sought after but best avoided?
Long elaborate processions should definitely be avoided, specially in public areas.
What is the rapport that you wish to share with your clients as you embark on the journey of planning?
Every meeting, every interaction, is to be inclusive, listening to the client is paramount. Like Ratan Tata said, " If you walk together, you walk further."
