Having done destination weddings what are the challenges that you experienced and is it an advisable idea for couples-to-be?
Destination weddings are challenging as you are working on foreign turf with your team in a totally new environment - but challenges are always more fun as they bring out the best from the team in terms of productivity and creativity.
It is always advisable for couples to be to opt for a destination wedding as it means taking a smaller group of guests and thereby being more economical and at the same time more fun - smaller the group more the bonding and fun ( more informal ) - also the hosts can let their hair down and have a good time without having to play 'host' to the guests.
How are the influences from the West fusing in with the Indian Weddings?
Influences from the west like colours, flower styling, fabrics used, themes, etc. play an important role in designing Indian weddings - the look may be traditional but we believe in fusing the traditional elements with modern flowers, lighting, elegant sit-down linen, etc. to make it that much more stylish and elegant.
What are the trendsetting flowers and colors for this season’s weddings?
The flower styling for this season has been either minimalistic and straightlined - almost linear arrangements in glass using more european flowers like hydrangeas, peonies, proteas, etc.or the very over the top flowy and unstructured arrangements using huge amount of big sized greens and few very very exotic flowers in bright colours (2 colours).
Can you share a trick or idea for the bridegroom-to-be for a budgeted and glamorous Wedding?
One should look for a nice but cosy destination in India that will be cost effective like the backwaters of Kerala wherein thew guest list would be limited and the food cost minimal. It makes up for a warm setup that would be fun and economical.
